Abaseen Yousafzai (Urdu: اباسين يوسفزي‎) (Pashto: اباسین یوسفزی‎) is a Pashtun poet from Pakistan. He is president of the Pashto Academy of the University of Peshawar.[1][2][3] Yousafzai has had his poetry published across the Durand Line.[4] Abaseen Yousafzai joined the Islamia College Peshawar as a lecturer of Pashto in 1993
